Nadia Lolas, both the most recent and youngest member of the Studio ARTISTS, draws with a youthful exuberance. Nadia finds inspiration from her every day environment, and it is this excitement for life which she easily translates into her work.

Nadia only began at Studio ARTES in 2010, but has already worked as a Studio ARTIST in residence with both Historic Houses Trust and the Paper Mill Gallery in Sydney’s CBD. In 2011 Nadia’s paintings were selected for exhibition in the Mint members lounge, and her work was awarded first place in Hornsby’s Botanical ARTES prize.

Before attending Studio ARTES, Nadia was a solely self taught artist. Her passion for drawing is reflected in the impressive portfolio of work she developed simply practising at home during her adolescence. According to Nadia’s mother Susan, “Art is her life”. Nadia aspires to work vocationally as an artist, and dreams of studying painting at a tertiary level.
